Primary Responsibilities:
- Drive engineering teams to converge towards SecDevops best practices around cloud native applications, Kubernetes and other SaaS / IaaS platforms.
- Collaborate with business analysts in clearing points of confusion, project scope, identifying short falls of business requirements / user stories.
- Develop action plans to address areas needing improvement.
- Provide support to business units and ensure that stakeholders are well informed of the progress as well as of the risks.
- Ensure that the team adheres to policies and procedures that are compliant with bank and regulatory policies.
- Champion the CI / CD methodology and tooling, which will include the containerized and non-containerized applications, using Jenkins, ArgoCD, goCD etc.
- Continuously be on the lookout for emerging technologies, trends, threats and key challenges in underlying technologies, and plan and provide inputs on impact on the Bank.
- Provide technical leadership and direction to the team and stakeholder.
- Collaborate with other SRE-S, L2/Support and Developers in the deployment and scaling of new product features to facilitate rapid iteration and massive growth.
- Develop tools to improve our ability to rapidly deploy and effectively monitor production applications in a large-scale Linux environment.
- Proven experience in Linux systems administration.
- Knowledge in Infrastructure as Code: Ansible/Chef/Salt, Terraform, etc.
- Container Orchestration: Kubernetes/Mesos/Docker Swarm.
- Recommend improvements to processe and policies across the Banking business to drive operational efficiencies and high quality customer service.
- Leverage in-house synergies through collaboration with internal stakeholders. Leadership Responsibilities:
- Monitor key parameters on productivity, hiring quality and attrition rates and make necessary improvements.
- Champion IDFC First’s customer first culture by driving the team to take up high degree servicing norms to ensure absolute customer delight.
- Attract and retain best-in-class talent for key roles in their reporting structure.
- Additional Responsibilities:
- Develop tools to improve our ability to rapidly deploy and effectively monitor production applications in a large-scale Linux environment.
- Proven experience in Linux systems administration.
- Knowledge in Infrastructure as Code: Ansible/Chef/Salt, Terraform, etc.

- Strong Agile background and should be able to practice and mentor others.
- Excellent analytical, communication and interpersonal skills.
